“I was born in Mexico City and immigrated to Israel with my parents and sisters when I was 12. I studied at "Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design", where I learned environmental design. I did my Masters in Architecture at "Columbia University" in New York.  I worked for two years at the firm of Jose Oubrerie, a protégé of Le Corbusier, in New York. In 2004, I founded Heidi Arad Architecture & Interior Design Ltd. The firm specializes in the interior design of residences, public buildings, and offices, with an emphasis on sustainable architecture.
